Ep.16: Fitness, Mindset & Self-Love: An Inspiring Chat with a Mom of Two Stefanie Will

Welcome to this episode of Working Mom Balanced. Today’s episode was so fun because I brought in my very first GUEST!
Introduction
In today’s episode we’re talking to Stefanie Will, a fitness coach who recently left her teaching job to focus full-time on coaching. She is a certified bootcamp instructor who loves helping women feel good in their body. In this season of life, she wants to be more present for her family while running her coaching business. Stefanie is a mom of two boys, married to her friend from elementary school and has been helping people lose weight and get fit since last year.
For her, it all began after helping family and friends lose weight last year, and as more people saw results, a business naturally bloomed and took off. She honed in on body image, building self-confidence and a positive way to lose weight for women.
Becoming a full-time fitness coach
She’s now a full-time fitness coach and reminds women that they can lose weight without giving up their favorite meals. All it takes is taking baby steps and being consistent.
I love an example she shared about just waking up one morning and doing a little movement. Then the next day adding a little bit more minutes of movement and before she knew it her body was desiring movement not because of physical results but because she felt good emotionally and mentally. So powerful!
Her perception of work life balance
We then dove into the conversation of work life balance. She advises working moms to create a priority list of no more than 5 items, so they don’t get overwhelmed with everything. It can be really hard managing a home, business and kids. So, create that power list and start there.
Recap
This was such a wonderful conversation! To recap: Stefanie shared her journey from being a teacher to becoming a fitness coach, and offered practical tips for busy moms who want to get in shape. We also talked about the importance of taking care of yourself, both physically and mentally, so you can be the best version of yourself for your family and others.
So, if you’re a busy mom looking to get in shape or just need some inspiration to stay motivated, this episode is for you. Stay tuned and let’s get started!
PS: Stefanie has a fitness program called Aligned & Fit, link here for more information. The main focus is on how to go from dieting to normal life (the aftermath for long life living and happiness).
